Job Sitch
Well, I had my first interview today. I felt nervous. I couldn't seem to produce any saliva, and I kept clearing my throat and drinking water. I could tell that my neck was flushed, which always happens when my emotions are running high (or when I drink wine which, unfortunately, I was *not* doing during the interview).
Luckily, I'd done my homework, and I felt like I had a pretty good handle on the position. I asked a lot of questions.
They also gave me an IQ-like test, and two "personality" tests.
The interview ran from 1 - 2:45. I got back to my desk at the warehouse job at 3:30. Waiting for me was an email saying that I was a strong candidate and that they wanted me back for a second interview. ?!?!?!?!
Tomorrow, I have an interview with a nonprofit.
Thursday I have an interview with the bookstore.
I just keep thinking, "This is insane! Don't these people know I'm a doofus?"
