Last evening in pictures
Last night, I was feeling especially girly.

While I read the Cosmo and ate the Haagen Dazs, I drank this:



After finishing the Cosmo, the tea, and the ice cream, and reading lj, AND eating an actual dinner...AND talking to Adam, I decided to give my troublesome skin a purifying mask.

I actually love the way I look with one of these masks on. I reminded myself of a Dada-esque model, something from Man Ray. I decided to take some self-portrait shots.

I'm really amazed at how well this first one came out. There's no blur, even though I was holding the camera in one hand, and the shutter was open for a comparatively long time, because there was no flash. I only wish that I'd been better able to center myself in the frame.



The camera wasn't as steady for this one:



I think I was unconsciously channeling a portrait of Meryl Streep by Annie Liebovitz, but I didn't make the connection until this morning (and I couldn't find a very good image of it):



Then I washed off the mask. My skin was pink and smooth. And I went to bed.
